The Happiness Path Program Myths
A lot of teen girls tell us the same thing before joining The Happiness Path (THP). They are thinking: “What if people judge me?” or “Does joining a group like this mean there’s something wrong with me?”. One of the biggest myths we hear is that learning about confidence and mental wellness must mean you’re broken and need to be fixed.
The truth? Everyone, no matter how confident they seem, struggles with things like self-doubt, tough emotions, and feeling stuck at times. Even pro-athletes and famous artists talk about working through fears and mental blocks. THP isn’t about fixing you. It’s about planting seeds of hope and giving you tools to feel more confident in whatever matters to you, whether that’s friendships, school, sports, performance, or your overall mental health.
Another common myth?
That a group focused on confidence and wellness will be boring or super uncomfortable. Yes, the idea of opening up around others your age can feel intimidating. But here’s the truth: THP is designed to be fun, relaxed, and full of possibility. We use movement, games, creativity, and discussions that feel natural, not forced. You share what you feel comfortable sharing, and most girls tell us they’re surprised by how quickly they feel safe.
By the end of the program, many girls say they’ve laughed more than they expected and learned a lot about themselves. The Happiness Path is all about discovering your confidence in a way that feels real, supportive, and even fun. Check it out here.
With gratitude,
Chantal
